Blue Fire is a utility magical item.
It is containable in a closed bottle, on the wick of a candle, or any place regular fire can be stored. As its name implies, it appears simply as a regular flame colored blue. There are three notable differences from normal fire: it burns without gas or any other fuel source, spreads at a much slower rate, and it is extremely cold rather than extremely hot. Because it consumes no fuel, it can be contained in airless environments like a closed bottle, and cannot be extinguished with normal means. It can only be extinguished by encountering extremely hot objects, or being drenched in liquid.
