An Ember Seed appears as a small fruit, with a color and shape which resembles a flame. When an Ember Seed is struck against a hard surface, it bursts open in a fiery spark that can damage those near it. These seeds work effectively as a means of igniting a flammable object or as slingshot ammunition.

The Ember Seed Supply is a Stock treasure gives the owner an effectively infinite supply of these seeds, costing a set 20 rupees. An individual Ember Seed is a Single-Use item, can be acquired at a cost of 3 rupees. An individual Ember Seed can only be used once.

A Botanist can craft with individual Ember Seeds (but not with a supply of them). A skilled botanist can use 3 single Ember Seeds to craft an Ember Seed Supply. Using 5 single seeds, the botanist can splice a Ember Seed's inflaming effect into a supply of other seeds, fruits, or vegetables.
