The Gift of Prophecy is a passive ability, which allows the gifted to sporadically see future events in her dreams. The gifted individual will be unable to control this power, seeing seemingly random future events at a time she cannot choose. The prophetic dreams will come when they will, without any guide. Some individuals may be stricken while conscious, effectively stunning them for the duration of the vision. The gifted individual rarely understands all that is shown in her visions.
The Gift of Prophecy treasure canonically appears in the Zelda series, initially in A Link to the Past.
