Lost and Found is a utility technique, and a racial perk for Picori. As such, a Picori can choose to gain it as a perk upon character creation. If a Picori chooses to gain this perk at some point after creation, the perk costs 15 rupees less than the listed cost.

An extremely common pastime of Picori the world over is to hide rupees and other valuable treasures in places where those of others may find them and become joyful. Picori themselves are extremely familiar with these hiding rituals and good hiding spots, thus they can find common, mundane items in extremely unusual places, such as a longsword in a tree. With training and now-how, other races can eventually learn to do this as well. As a general rule, this technique can only be used to find one or two items in a single quest or dungeon, and any treasures obtained in this way still must have their normal costs paid.

In addition to finding simple items, only Picori can also use this same expertise to find additional rupees. In addition to finding any items, a Picori can use this technique to find an additional 10 rupees in a quest or dungeon. The acquisition of these rupees must be specifically mentioned in the role-play, and cannot be put towards a treasure in the quest or dungeon in which they are obtained. As these rupees are produced with a PerQuest Rupee effect, the benefiting Picori cannot use any other PerQuest Rupee treasures to gain more rupees in the same quest or dungeon.

Trivia

  • Similar racial perks enabling one to find extra items and rupees include Nose for Treasure, used by Mogmas; and Ore Trade, used by Subrosians.
  • Other races can gain additional rupees with the Profession or Rupoor Supply treasures.
  • The Lost and Found treasure is an original creation by one of Hyrule Castle's members. Its concept is credited to Guy.
