Race License is an unusual treasure. Unlike a normal treasure, a Race License is a benefit earned by the player, rather than any of his or her characters. It can be purchased in the Marketplace either in-character or out-of-character, but in either case, all the rupees for it must come from one character. Alternatively, a character can gain a mundane memento (which doesn't qualify as a treasure) to represent the Race License earned by the player.
When a player gains a Race License, he must select one playable race that is either Uncommon or Elite. From that point onward, the player is able to create as many characters as he likes of that race.
When a character is of a race restricted by a Race License, the character's profile must include proof of gaining the Race License. If the License was earned in a Marketplace thread, for instance, the Licensed character's profile must link to that Marketplace thread.
