Yeti Boots, named after the toughness of the Yeti race, are an extremely hardy pair of boots capable of protecting the wearer's feet from almost any danger. As their namesake implies, the boots usually feature a furry brim, but can be of any cold or earthy color.

The bottoms of the boots are virtually impenetrable by heat or cold--famously even allowing a stalwart wearer to stride across molten rock unharmed, so long as it isn't so fluid the user would sink into it. Similarly, it protects the wearer's feet from all manner of spiked or slippery floors, enabling the user to not only keep his balance on ice, but walk across caltrops and Spine Spores with ease.

Although the boots feature steel toes and are extremely hardy, they are otherwise only slightly more dense than common boot leather. As such, they only have niche offensive purposes, and can be penetrated from the sides as well as common boots.

Trivia

  • An Outfitter can treat a Yeti Boots as a material for the purpose of combining its effects with other materials or treasures into one item of the Footwear field. When determining how many materials the Outfitter can craft into one item, treat this item as though it had a set cost of 25 rupees.
  • The Yeti Boots treasure is an original creation by one of Hyrule Castle's members.
