A Cane of Pacci appears as yellow cane with a rounded tip, with length usually equal to the length of the wielder's arm. By pouring one's raw magic power into the cane and swinging it, a small glowing yellow sphere shoots out from the tip in a twirling trajectory. Whatever inanimate object this sphere hits immediately jumps up into the air a short distance, flips over so what was its top now faces down, and lands back down with a soft impact. The sphere itself disappears on impact.
If the projectile sphere is somehow redirected to strike the wielder of the cane, the wielder will be abruptly flung flipping into the air. The distance leaped in this way is about two or three times the height the user would normally be able to achieve, comparable in this regard to the effects of Roc's Feather or the Jump spell.
Trivia
- A Weaponsmith can treat a Cane of Pacci as a material for the purpose of combining its effects with other materials or treasures into one weapon. For determining how many materials the Weaponsmith can craft into one item, treat this item as though it had a set cost of 8 rupees.
