Explosive Heel is an offensive technique, which relies on an extraordinary powerful kick. To use it, the user extends one leg high into the air. A weak vortex of wind begins to swirl around her, growing in intensity over the next five seconds as the user's power is focused into her heel. After the charging period is over, the user's heel smashes into the ground (or a grounded target), unleashing on impact a potent explosion comparable in force to a Powder Keg. While the user suffers some strain from this move, the explosion itself does not harm her. Considering this move takes five seconds of stationary build-up, it is virtually impossible to use on a mobile target in combat, but it can reliably be used for utility purposes, such as demolition.
The Explosive Heel treasure does not appear verbatim within the official Zelda series. However, it does appear in Super Smash Bros. Melee. In that game, it was a technique used by Ganondorf.
