Mage's Map is a utility spell. To cast it, the user must place his hands against the ground, and focus for at least ten minutes. After the casting is complete, the user manifests a detailed map of the structure he is in (to a castle, cave, ruins, etc.), if its diameter is less than a quarter mile (~400m). If he is outside, he instead maps his surroundings out to the same diameter, excluding the interiors of any nearby structures. This map will highlight creatures, traps, and treasure chests, but do so in such a way that it may be difficult to discern one from another.
The Mage's Map treasure is an original creation by one of Hyrule Castle's members. Its concept is credited to Tsubori.
