Place:Tantari Desert

Tantari Desert is a region on the easternmost edge of Southern Hyrule, which coasts the Eastern Sea. It houses the Hylian settlement of Ruto, the ruins of Rauru, and the Eastern Caves. Tantari is well-known for being the single hottest, driest, and arid region in all of mainland Hyrule--which makes it the preferred habitat of the few Subrosians who end up in this land. More commonly, Gerudo and Hylians can be seen outdoors, though they mostly retreat underground or to the safety of Ruto. Not only does the heat impose lethal dangers, but common monsters like leevers make travel particularly perilous, and that's not even considering that bands of Ganon's forces still wander these sands.
