The Puppeteer spell can be used to create a specific illusion.

To cast the spell, the user either must have some form of puppet or marionette on his person, or have one designated elsewhere with the Mark spell. Once cast, the caster begins to animate the puppet as if on strings. An illusory copy of the puppet thus begins to act as though controlled by the caster. This puppet is able to wander away from its owner, to any place within the caster's line of sight. As it is an illusion, it is visible and audible, but cannot physically interact with its environment. The puppet itself, however, must adhere to the environment's physical limitations, such as not being able to move through walls.

The caster can control a puppet in this way indefinitely, and need not focus on controlling it any more than he would a regular puppet. The puppet disappears when the caster releases the imaginary strings, or if the caster passes out.

The puppet created by this spell can normally be any size between 50% and 200% of the original puppet's height. If the puppet is marked remotely with the Mark spell, that puppet cannot be used if its height exceeds the caster's.

Augments

One-Handed
Additional
Cost
10 rupees

The user can gain the One-Handed or Massive augment simultaneously with the original treasure for an additional cost, or as a separate treasure at a later time.

Using the One-Handed augment, the user can control a normal puppet with only a single hand, thereby enabling him to control two puppets simultaneously. If the puppet equals or exceeds the height of the caster, the caster is required to use both hands to control it.

Massive
Cost Lowest Cost

C5: 10 rupees
C4: 15 rupees
C3: 20 rupees
C2: 25 rupees
C1: 30 rupees
Rent: 5 rupees

With the Massive augment, the user can manipulate the puppet's size even more. Its height can become anything between 10% and 1000% the height of the original puppet.

Trivia

The Puppeteer treasure is an original creation by one of Hyrule Castle's members. Its concept is credited to Eternis.
