Purify is a spell which specializes in relieving magical ailments. To cast it, the caster channels his magic into his hands and fires forth a continuous beam of light at the intended target. The beam can reach up to 300 feet (or 100m), after which point it dissipates. The light doesn't hurt most people, instead cleansing them of magical effects such as hexes, curses, and other such hindrances. The spell has no effect on physical ailments, such as poison or disease. The beam of light can be sustained for up to a 30 seconds, and can target multiple individuals within this duration, but the caster must wait just as long before being able to cast the spell again.

When used on a being with Dark Affinity, however, this spell begins to negate that being's dark magic. The negation itself causes a burning pain in the target, as well as weakening its dark magic spell casting abilities. Because of this weakness, a being with Dark Affinity cannot learn or use this spell.
