Quick Draw is an offensive technique. To use this technique, the user locks his feet into the ground and concentrates all of his energy into his fists, or a held melee weapon, often taking a defensive stance while doing so. A peculiar sound resonates out from the user's body as his weapon begins to tremble. After about 20 full seconds, he abruptly shoots forward at twice his sprinting pace, weapon drawn forward and ready to strike.

The distance the user shoots varies; generally it's about ten feet, but it may be up to a dozen or as few as eight, depending upon the size of the user's body. (Creatures of Picori size shoot a distance more akin to eight inches.) After he launches forward, the user may continue moving, but must drop down to normal running speed.

Quicker Draw

Cost
10 rupees

The user can gain the Quicker Draw augment simultaneously with the original treasure for an additional cost, or as a separate treasure at a later time. A user with this augment requires only approximately 2 seconds to charge, not 20, making it much more useful in combat.

Trivia

  • Blitz has a similar effect of launching the user forward. Unlike Quick Draw, it requires no stationary charge time, but launches the user forward shoulder-first.
  • The Quick Draw treasure does not appear verbatim within the official Zelda series. However, it does appear in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. In that game, it is a technique used by Ike.
