The Sapling's Song, or Sapling's Sanguine Song, is a magical song which accelerates the growth of plants. The user can play the song skillfully either for one individual plant, or all nearby plant life. When played for an individual plant, the player must mentally focus on the plant, usually by standing near it and looking upon it as she plays. For all nearby flora, the user must simply play, and the effect extends for roughly 300 feet (or 100 meters) around her. For every 10 seconds the user plays, the affect plants grow as they received adequate water and sunlight for a day's time. In this way, playing for several minutes causes the plant to make weeks' worth of growth almost instantly. Playing for an hour causes about year's worth of growth. After the growth occurs, the plants will remain in this elevated state for as long as the player remains nearby. Should she leave the vicinity for more than a hour's time, however, the plants will return to normal. Should the player die in the vicinity of the plants, however, they will never revert.
