Toxic Circulation is a trait associated with the body. Similar to Poison Gland, and comparable to Poison Enchantment, Toxic Circulation is instead a defensive aspect that resides in the user's own blood. The user's blood has become laced with a unique toxin or similar venom. She herself is immune to the effects of this specific toxin. When the skin is broken, this toxin flows with the user's blood itself, any single drop potent with its effects.

When ingested, through a biting monster or otherwise, the toxin has its strongest effects. The subject that swallowed the poison will become feverishly dizzy and gain unfocused double-vision after one to two minutes of ingestion. A simple cast of Detox or a similar healing spell will cause this effect to go away. If left completely untreated for over 24 hours, the subject may become incurably ill, fall into a coma, or even die.

If the toxin is not swallowed, however, the noticeable effects are far less severe. If the toxin makes contact with another's bloodstream, they will simply become dizzy for about a minute long. Above the skin, the toxin causes an annoying, itchy pain that goes away just as quickly. A Serpent Suit will nullify any and all effects of this trait, however. Furthermore, skin types such as scales or the stone skin of a Goron will not feel effects above the skin either. This type of blood will dissipate very quickly in open air and become ineffective after just 4 hours of drying.

  • The Toxic Circulation treasure is an original creation by Hyrule Castle's members. Its concept is based on a similar ability from Hylian Shield, Hyrule Castle's predecessor.
