A Yeti Tunic, also known as Frost Tunic or White Tunic, appears as a white tunic sized appropriately for its intended wearer. Whoever wears it will be mostly protected from freezing, and cold in general. Specifically, any part of the body shielded by the Yeti Tunic will not freeze, nor will the Yeti Tunic itself. The cold of the user's surroundings will be greatly reduced as well. A skilled Outfitter can create a Yeti Tunic from a single supply of White Hide.
The wearer of a Yeti Tunic will negate any weakness to cold he or she would otherwise have, making it particularly useful for Subrosians. A Yeti Tunic can be removed from its wearer, to instead wrap an object, thus keeping the object from suffering excessive cold or freezing.
Trivia
- Similar tunics can protect from dangers, like the Goron Tunic protects from heat. Specifically, the Goron Tunic protects from heat, the Zora Tunic protects from drowning, the Golden Tunic protects from Light damage, and the Black Tunic protects from Shadow damage.
- The Yeti Tunic treasure is an original creation by one of Hyrule Castle's members. Its concept is credited to Guy. It first appeared on Hylian Shield, the predecessor to Hyrule Castle, where it was a variant to Goron Tunic and Zora Tunic.
