A Gibdo Mask is a defensive magical item. It is a mask to be worn in the face, with an appearance resembling a Gibdo or a Redead
When worn, this mask causes the wearer to appear as a Gibdo or Redead, as the user decides. This effect is merely a visual illusion, as the user retains all the normal characteristics of her own body. The illusive figure has a height and body proportions matching those of the wearer's true body. If the user does not act, sound, and smell the part, it is possible to suspect her disguise. As with all illusions, the guise can be thwarted by anyone using a Lens of Truth.
Trivia
- The Like-Like Ring and Octo Ring enable the wearer to fully transform into a monster.
- The Gibdo Mask treasure canonically appears in the Zelda series, initially in Majora's Mask. More information about the canonical version of this treasure can likely be found on Zelda Wiki.
