The Scorching Socks are a strange pair of footwear which, needless to say, normally takes the form of magical socks. Their effect can be toggled off and on at will, with a mere thought from the wearer.
While the socks are active, every step the user takes will light the ground beneath it aflame a split-second after the wearer's foot leaves the ground. For this reason, it is recommended the user wears protective boots over the socks. Similarly, the user will ignite any target he kicks, and his steps will still cause flames even if walking on walls or ceilings.
