Frigid Composition is a trait, and a innate racial perk for Yeti. As such, all Yeti innately must have this treasure, even if the treasure is undesired. Normally, no other races can obtain this treasure.
Due to a Yeti's upbringing and bodily composition, he or she is virtually impervious to all but the most extreme colds, and as such, will take almost no damage from most Ice-based damage. However, the same reasons which make Yeti resistant to cold make them particularly vulnerable to heat. As such, a Yeti will take roughly double the normal damage from any attack which relies on heat, or is part of the Fire field.
A Yeti can overcome the weakness to the heat with the protection provided by Goron Armor, Fireshield Earrings, or any protective gear crafted from Dodongo Hide.
Trivia
- Non-Yeti beings can mimic their protection against cold by using a Yeti Tunic.
- The Frigid Composition treasure canonically appears in the Zelda series, initially in Twilight Princess. More information about the canonical version of this treasure can likely be found on Zelda Wiki.
