Deep beneath the ground's surface lies a world incomprehensibile to Hyruleans, known as Subrosia. Filled with lava and heat a typical Hyrulean could hardly bear, this dark underground world is the perfect home for the race known as Subrosians. To them, Hyrule seems frigid and uncomfortably bright during the day. Though magical means are usually needed to enter this world, or travel from it to Hyrule, the only known path lies through the Subrosian Glacier.
To the west in Subrosia rests the Temple of Seasons, a massive, beautiful structure of mysterious origins that the Subrosians maintain diligently. North and east, past the great lava lake, Subrosia Village is found. Well developed and civilized, Subrosia Village is the hub for the Subrosian people, holding their government, trade, and—above all—their massive dance hall. Lastly the Subrosia Cemetery sits on the northern tip of Subrosia, a place where these curious people have buried their dead for thousands of years, and a particularly strange place for a Stalfos or Poe to arise.
