Fairy Gold is a simple but useful spell which can be cast with a touch of one's fingertip to make any object appear to the senses as if it was made entirely of gold. The enchanted object retains more subtle characteristics of the original material, such as its density and malleability, and does not change its original shape. Normally, the user can only affect an object smaller than his body (or a sum of objects smaller than his body). A Lens of Truth or similar treasure that can see through illusions can see the "gold" object for what it truly is. If the affected object is not touched by the caster for more than 24 hours, it returns to the original material.

The Fairy Gold treasure is an original creation by one of Hyrule Castle's members. Its concept is credited to Eternis.
