Propel is a highly versatile technique, enabling the user's body to be launched in virtually any direction. This is a Major treasure. A character who has never gained a Major treasure may gain this treasure normally. Otherwise, the character must first acquire Major Gain specifically to gain this treasure.

When this technique is first learned, a small amount of "spatial energy" is stored in the user's body. This energy is spent whenever Propel is used, and takes a while to recharge. Thus, Propel cannot be used more than once every ten seconds.

When this technique is used, the user instantly moves the spatial energy from their body in a mentally-designated direction. His entire body is then quite literally shot in that direction at a sudden and forceful speed, so quickly he could injure himself from whiplash without proper precautions. This enables the individual to "double jump," or jump remarkably high (varying with their weight, but a Hylian about 2m), evade attacks in a split-second, charge at terrifying speed, and allow him to accelerate to a running pace instantly.
