Across the Great Sea, to the southwest of Southern Hyrule lies an area of the world known as Natzu Triangle. This extremely enigmatic region has appeared in numerous ways to different visitors. It has reportedly been nothing but a vast prairie, a wasteland filled with monsters, a dangerous volcanic archipelago, an island of dense jungle, and even just an empty spanse of sea. It never even seems to be in the exact same coordinates, despite what maps might suggest. Despite these bizarre inconsistences, when it takes on the form of a landmass, Natzu always takes on a triangular shape, hence its name. In all of its recorded interpretations by those brave enough to explore it, there has been no record of intelligent races occupying it. Perhaps most eerie of all, of the numerous parties who set out to explore and understand this enigma, many have vanished without a trace--never returning from their expeditions.
