The Hero's Charm appears as mask made from gold. It typically bears a mildly disturbing appearance, with large feline eyes and big gritted teeth. Peering through it enables the wearer to view and understand certain things about living or undead entities around her. This includes any of the following information.
- The entity's overall level of health, and how fatigued it is.
- Whether the entity is alive, dead, or undead.
- All objects the being is holding or concealing, unless masked by Smuggler's Pocket or a similar effect.
- All techniques, spells, and traits the target knows.
- The being's name, specifically however it identifies itself. If the entity has no Hyrulean name, no name will appear.
Trivia
- This mask's ability to see truth is comparable to the Lens of Truth, which sees through illusions.
- The Hero's Charm treasure canonically appears in the Zelda series, initially in The Wind Waker. More information about the canonical version of this treasure can likely be found on Zelda Wiki.
