Transmogrification is a simple, but highly versatile, Transformation spell. By holding an object in her hands and concentrating for a few seconds, the user can transform one common item into another common item. For example, a sword can be turned into a brick, a brick into a flute, or a flute into a longbow. Generally, any item transformed is a somewhat crude version compared to a meticulously crafted one, unless the object is being transformed back into its original shape. The transformation process itself requires about five seconds. The transformed object is subject to two limitations:
- Size: The new object must have equivalent mass to the previous object, and can never have more than half the mass of the caster.
- Complexity: Any mechanical items (to include explosives), organic items, or any cannot be summoned. In short, nothing which constitutes a treasure can be summoned.
Trivia
- This treasure's ability to create a wide variety of common implements is similar to the effects of Summon Implements and Infinite Novel.
- The Transmogrification treasure is an original creation by one of Hyrule Castle's members. Its concept is credited to Quill.
