Actor's Illusion is a spell, and a racial perk for Garo. As such, a Garo can choose to gain it as a perk upon character creation. If a Garo chooses to gain this perk at some point after creation, the perk costs 15 rupees less than the listed cost.

Through continued concentration, the user casts this spell to project an illusion to "change" the user's physical appearance. For instance, it can be used to change the user's hair color, skin color, eye color and other minor physical details of the caster's form. It is particularly useful for enabling one to appear as another race. The greater the illusion, the more one must concentrate, and the higher the chance of failure. Significantly altering one's body mass, such as height, girth, or limbs, is comparatively difficult, and almost impossible. While maintaining this spell, attempting cast another other spell will break the illusion.

As with all Illusions, this guise can be seen for what it is with the Lens of Truth .

Augment

The user can gain the Effortless augment simultaneously with the original treasure for an additional cost, or as a separate treasure at a later time.

With this augment, once the transformation is complete, it takes no effort or concentration to maintain. Furthermore, the caster is able to appear as almost any creature their mind can design, so long as it has the same general size of their own body. The caster can even form extra, illusory limbs--although this limbs are completely illusory, and cannot interact with any tangible substance.

• Tangible bodily transformations can be done with Transformation Masks, certain Curses, Fusion Dance, or other treasures in the Transform field.
