The Scorching Socks are a strange pair of footwear which, needless to say, normally takes the form of magical socks. Their effect can be toggled off and on at will, with a mere thought from the wearer.
While the socks are active, every step the user takes will light the ground beneath it aflame a split-second after the wearer's foot leaves the ground. For this reason, it is recommended the user wears protective boots over the socks. Similarly, the user will ignite any target he kicks, and his steps will still cause flames even if walking on walls or ceilings.
Trivia
- Cobra Boots have a similar effect of damaging what the user steps on.
- The Spicy Stockings treasure is an original creation by one of Hyrule Castle's members. Its concept is credited to Guy.
