A Zora Tunic, also known as Zora Armor or Blue Tunic, appears as a deep blue tunic sized appropriately for its intended wearer. Whoever wears it will be mostly protected from water damage, and cannot drown in water for so long as it is worn. While the forceful impact of water can still cause harm, soaking in calm water for any length of time will not cause harm to the wearer. A skilled Tailor, Woodworker, or Blacksmith can create a Zora Tunic from a single supply of Silver Scales.
The wearer of a Zora Tunic will negate any weakness to water he or she would otherwise have, making it particularly useful for Koroks, Subrosians, and Deku Scrubs. A Zora Tunic can be removed from its wearer, to instead wrap an object, thus keeping the object from suffering water damage.
Trivia
- The effect of a Zora Tunic is encompassed into the effects of a Mermaid Suit, which also transforms the lower half of the wearer's body into a fish tail.
- Similar tunics can protect from dangers, like the Zora Tunic protects from water. Specifically, the Goron Tunic protects from heat, the Yeti Tunic protects from cold, the Golden Tunic protects from Light damage, and the Black Tunic protects from Shadow damage.
- The Zora Tunic treasure canonically appears in the Zelda series, initially in Ocarina of Time. More information about the canonical version of this treasure can likely be found on Zelda Wiki.
