Place:Lon Lon Ranch

Sitting in a small group of mountains east of Castle Town is Lon Lon Ranch, also known simply as Lon Lon. Buildings made of stone and straw are occupied by humble, strong Hylians whom take pride in their work. Being a peaceful farming community, cucco roam the streets freely, and many children run around pretending to be heroes of old. Though Hylians make up the core demographic here, some Gorons and travelers belonging to other races are often hired on as laborers or protectors.

Over the years, Lon Lon Ranch has become the main supplier for many of Northern Hyrule’s towns. Fields of crops, and cattle filled pastures dominate the landscapes surrounding Lon Lon, which are worked by hundreds of hard working Hylians whom make their home here. Every day, wagons filled with milk, cheese, grain, and meat leave Lon Lon Ranch and follow the roads throughout Hyrule Field to the likes of Nabooru, Impa, and other Hylian settlements purchase goods, even to towns as distant as Mido.

During more recent years, the caravans carrying goods have occasionally been ambushed by either thieves or renegade monsters, and this has warranted the escort of the Hyrule Castle Guard. Many members of the Guard make their home in Lon Lon Ranch, ensuring their town as well as the daily caravans remain safe.
