A Lens of Truth appears as a purple magnifying glass. Several red markings adorn the glass, making it appear similar to one large eye. When one holds this glass, it enables them to see through all forms of visual illusion, as well as not being blinded by bright flashes, such as those from Deku Nuts.

The user can gain the Communal augment simultaneously with the original treasure for an additional cost, or as a separate treasure at a later time.
While the user is benefiting from the Lens of Truth, he or she can provide the same benefit to any creatures he mentally designates within the same general area. The affect creatures need not be aware of this effect, and cannot willingly negate it unless they, too, have a Lens of Truth or similar effect.
