Illusive Clone is a spell that allows the caster to create a highly convincing illusion that is visually identical to herself.

Casting requires just a moment of concentration, and it causes the illusion appears anywhere within arm's reach of the caster, and the illusion is completely controlled by the user's thoughts. The illusion can be commanded to either perform one simple action repeatedly and endlessly (such as "wait here" or "sprint forward") or be directly controlled. The latter can be significantly difficult, as the user is still controlling her own body, while controlling yet another body without actually being in it.

The illusion always appears identically to however the user appears when the spell is cast, and will copy temporary changes to the user such as those provided by Transformation Masks or an Actor's Illusion. The illusion even casts its own shadow, and can appear to use treasures the user has--including any visual illusions. However, the illusion makes no sound, has no smell, and can be seen as false by a Lens of Truth or Hero's Charm.

The caster's Illusive Clone can last indefinitely, but will end immediately if it would suffer an injury that would harm a living person. The caster can also end the illusion at any time. Attempting to cast this spell again will cause the previous illusion created by it to end, unless the caster has multiple instances of this spell.

Trivia

  • The caster could cause the illusive clone to appear to speak or make sound with the Ventriloquism spell.
  • This spell could appear to emulate Ring of Deuce, which makes two complete and living clones of one person.
