Minish Veil is a defensive trait, and a racial perk for Picori. As such, a Picori may gain this perk upon character creation, or later as a normal treasure. If this treasure is gained sometime after creation, it costs 15 rupees less than normal.

Most common Picori have this trait. With it, no creature is able to notice the presence of a Picori beyond a distance of a meter (or about 3 feet). Hylian children can more easily see Picori because their eyes are closer to the ground, where the diminutive Picori usually walk. Hylian adults, being taller, will usually never notice Picori. If a Picori goes out of its way to get noticed, such as by shouting or making physical contact, it will be noticed. Similarly, any creature who knows of the Picori's presence will still be able to see and detect it, even from a distance greater than normal. Finally, any being with the capability to see through illusions, such as with a Lens of Truth, is always able to detect a Picori with those means.

A member of another race may acquire Minish Veil, but will only gain its benefit while at the size of a Picori--such as would be the case while wearing a Gnat Hat or a after eating a Compaction Seed.

If the user's size ever increases above a couple inches (5 cm), Picori or not, it loses the effect of Minish Veil until it returns to its normal size.
