Special Triangle Punch is a technique which appears no different than a normal punch, hiding its true nature. When performed correctly, this punch or palm thrust uses the attacker's courage to blast away dark or evil forces in the target of the attack, revealing their true form. Primarily, a struck invisible foe will become visible, and any Illusion an entity used to guise its true appearance will be broken for all to see. This punch can also help to remove a specter or demon possession from its victim. Finally, this attack inflicts a searing or burning wound on any entity weak to Light damage, including any undead.
Trivia
- Lens of Truth can see through a wider variety of illusions without needing to strike, but only functions for the holder of the lens.
- Light Enchantment and Gerudo Dragon similarly cause punches, or other attacks, to inflict Light damage.
- The Special Triangle Punch treasure does not appear verbatim within the official Zelda series. However, it does appear in the Link's Awakening manga.
