Intrinsic Enchantment is an offensive spell, and a exclusive racial perk for Lynels. As such, a Lynel can choose to gain it as a perk upon character creation. Since this is an exclusive perk, other races normally cannot acquire it as a treasure.

Many Lynels are born with powerful mystical powers of a seemingly magical nature. One of the most apparent ways this manifests is in many Lynels' abilities to perform an "Intrinsic Enchantment." In effect, this treasure functions as a naturally-occurring version of any one of the following spells, and can be used in the same way:

Upon gaining this treasure, the Lynel must choose one enchantment to gain. Which enchantment a given Lynel is capable of using varies from one to the next, but usually seems to resemble his or her personality in some way. Once a Lynel has gained an Intrinsic Enchantment, he cannot gain another one. He can, however, learn the other enchantment spells in the normal way.
