Power Beam is an offensive technique popular among swordsmen. When the user is unscratched from battle and filled with vigor, he can focus his strength and energy into a held melee weapon, or his fists. Doing so enables him to unleash a potent beam from the weapon in whichever direct it is swung or thrust, and do so repeatedly until he sustains damage. The beam varies widely in appearance, but shoots straight, and has roughly half the impact the weapon itself would have. This projectile can travel up to 30 feet (or 10 meters), or until it strikes a target, at which point it immediately vanishes. The user cannot create more than one of these beams at a time, and as such must wait for the projectile to vanish before spawning another.

If the user has a weapon-based enchantment spell, such as Fire Enchantment or Shadow Enchantment, it can be applied to the projectiles produced through Power Beam. Similarly, if the weapon used to produce a Power Beam has an Elemental Gem, the power of the gem can be specifically applied to the projectile as if it was the weapon.

This treasure is a racial perk for both Lynels and Darknuts. As such, a member of either race can choose to gain it as a perk upon character creation. Unlike other beings, both Lynels and Darknuts have the mysterious ability to use this technique even while injured.
