Northern Hyrule’s newest town is the seaside Impa, which was recently built to send ships to Southern Hyrule and the various island of the Eastern Sea. The King of Hyrule desired to be able to send his armies to Southern Hyrule as soon as possible, to counteract Ganon's invasion, so he funneled rupees into its surprisingly quick construction. Logs hauled in from Woodfall and stone cut from the mountains of Hyrule were all brought to Impa and were rapidly raised into inns, houses, a town hall, and other buildings essential to the town’s growth and survival. Alongside the buildings rests a dock, fashioned from the trees of Woodfall, which holds many large ships built from the same.

Impa is a very lively, very busy place, filled with constantly flowing traffic. Ships dock and set sail from Impa every day; travelers coming and going, supplies setting off for Southern Hyrule, and explorers looking to venture out into the Eastern Sea. Lately, fishermen have been making their homes in the coastal town, bringing with them thousands of pounds of fish, which have been used as trading material among the other towns of Hyrule.

Set against the sea and resting on the plains of Hyrule field, Impa is a beautiful place. A wall of logs has set up a protective barrier between the town and the monsters roaming Hyrule field, and a Castle Guard post has been established to keep the town, its inhabitants, and its purpose safe. Many military men live transient lives here as they prepare to depart for Southern Hyrule, but others have settled down to aid the Guard in defending the town.

The largest port of Hyrule, exceeding Mido in its population, Impa's populace is primarily Hylians, but also houses many Gorons, Rito, Zora, and even Deku Scrubs.
