Slow is an offensive spell. To cast it, the user makes a physical motion to designate an area he can see, mentally picturing a spherical area to be affected. The sphere can have a radius of no more than 3 meters (or about 10 feet). Initially, the ground beneath the sphere glows with an intricate series of circles. In less than a second, a transparent haze floods the sphere, slowing down time without the sphere to 1/3 of its normal sphere. This effect completely affects all entities which are partially in the sphere, including even the caster if he enters it. The effect will last up to 10 minutes. The caster can only have one region affected by Slow at any given time, and as such, casting the spell again causes the previous instance of Slow to return to normal.

Normally, Slow can only be cast once every 90 seconds. With one level of Magic Power, the caster can do so every 30 seconds. With two levels, it can be done every 10 seconds. If the caster has a Specialty in Time, he is treated as having one more level of Magic Power than he actually does.
