'''Peril Beam''' is an offensive technique. Peril Beam is an offensive technique. When the user has been gravely injured or is on the brink of death, he can concentrate his adrenaline and will to live into his held melee weapon, or his fists. Doing so enables him to unleash a potent beam from the weapon in whichever direct it is swung or thrust, and do so repeatedly until he recovers. The beam varies widely in appearance, but shoots straight, and has roughly half the impact the weapon itself would have. This projectile can travel up to 30 feet (or 10 meters), or until it strikes a target, immediately which point it vanishes.
If the user has a weapon-based enchantment spell, such as Fire Enchantment or Shadow Enchantment, it can be applied to the projectiles produced through Peril Beam. Similarly, if the weapon used to produce a Peril Beam has an Elemental Gem, the power of the gem can be specifically applied to the projectile as if it was the weapon.
