Din's Fire is an extremely powerful offensive spell know to rapidly consume the caster's magic power.
Less than a second after the user begins to cast this spell, time around him is paused--all objects and creatures cease movement, even if they were in the midst of falling. By focusing intensely and pouring his magic prowess and willpower into his hands, the user slams them onto the ground upon which he stands. A wall of incinerating flames forms around him in a sphere, before rapidly expanding outward, roasting and inflaming everything around him in all directions for a distance of about 6 meters (or 20 feet). Only after the fireball expands does time once again begin to flow normally. Because this spell not only pauses time but strikes in all directions, it is infamously almost impossible to evade.
Due to the extreme rate at which this spell consumes magic, it can normally be used only once per quest or dungeon. With one level of Magic Power, however, it can be cast twice. With two levels of Magic Power, it can be cast thrice. Every time the user consumes a Green Potion, this spell can be cast one more time. Regardless of how many times this spell can be cast, at least 1 minute must pass before it can be repeated.
Trivia
The Din's Fire treasure canonically appears in the Zelda series, initially in Ocarina of Time. More information about the canonical version of this treasure can likely be found on Zelda Wiki.
