Concentrating their magical power into the space in front of them for a moment, the user summons a chunk of ice shaped like a spire pointing upwards, its height slightly below chest-level. The bottom of the chunk is extremely slick, even on rough surfaces such as sad, and thus can easily be batted forward with the end of the user's weapon. If it crashes into a target with enough force and without being deflected, it will abruptly smash apart, unleashing its hidden magic to then freeze the target.  While this the ice spire's intended use, it can also be used for utility purposes.

'''Ice Shot''' is an offensive ice spell.  By concentrating their magical power into the space in front of them for several seconds, the user creates in front of them a cone-shaped hunk of ice, which is about as tall as the caster's.  Although the user can attempt to hide behind this cone, its inherent fragility make it better used offensively. The cone's flat surface is extremely slick, enabling it to be shoved down slopes, or sent flying forward over flat land with a well-placed blunt strike.  If the hunk of ice crashes into a foe or a solid wall, it will smash apart, unleashing magic within to rapidly cool and potentially freeze whatever was struck.

Ice Shot is an offensive ice spell.

Normally, the ice cone can be cast about once per minute. With one level of Magic Power, it can be used once every 20 seconds or so. With two levels of Magic Power, it can be cast once every few seconds.

Trivia

The Ice Shot treasure does not appear verbatim within the official Zelda series. However, it does appear in Super Smash Bros. Melee. In this game, it is an ability used by the Ice Climbers.
