Ice Shot is an offensive ice spell. By concentrating their magical power into the space in front of them for several seconds, the user creates in front of them a cone-shaped hunk of ice, which is about as tall as the caster's. Although the user can attempt to hide behind this cone, its inherent fragility make it better used offensively. The cone's flat surface is extremely slick, enabling it to be shoved down slopes, or sent flying forward over flat land with a well-placed blunt strike. If the hunk of ice crashes into a foe or a solid wall, it will smash apart, unleashing magic within to rapidly cool and potentially freeze whatever was struck.
Normally, the ice cone can be cast about once per minute. With one level of Magic Power, it can be used once every 20 seconds or so. With two levels of Magic Power, it can be cast once every few seconds.
Trivia
The Ice Shot treasure does not appear verbatim within the official Zelda series. However, it does appear in Super Smash Bros. Melee. In this game, it is an ability used by the Ice Climbers.
