Hex is a disabling offensive spell. To use it, the caster focuses momentarily to surrounds himself with a blue gaseous aura for several seconds, during which he must be able to make physical contact with any targets to be affected. Touching an object held by the target, such as a shield or sword, will cause the spell to have no effect. Once affected, the target is completely ineffective at combat by way of disorientation, ineptitude, or just plain bad luck, for ten to twenty seconds, depending on its resilience.
Normally, this spell can be used once per 3 minutes. With one level of Magic Power, it can be used once per minute. With two levels of Magic Power, it can be used once every 20 seconds. For the purposes of this spell, a user with a Dark Affinity is treated as having one more level of Magic Power than she actually does.
Trivia
