Power Beam is an offensive technique. When the user is unscratched from battle and filled with vigor, he can focus his strength and energy into his weapon or his fists. Doing so enables him to unleash a potent beam from the weapon in whichever direct it is swung or thrust, and do so repeatedly until he sustains damage. The beam varies widely in appearance, but shoots straight, and has roughly half the impact the weapon itself would have. This projectile can travel up to 30 feet (or 10 meters), or until it strikes a target, immediately which point it vanishes.
Other treasures treat this projectile as though it was produced from a spell.
Trivia
- A similar beam can be produced under different conditions with the Peril Beam technique.
- The Power Beam treasure canonically appears in the Zelda series, initially in The Legend of Zelda. More information about the canonical version of this treasure can likely be found on Zelda Wiki.
