Weapon Curse is an offensive spell used to disarm an enemy. To cast it, the user simply uses her hand to touch an object primarily intended to be used as a weapon, focusing her magical energy into it. She then selects a heat, cold, or electricity curse to afflict it. The resulting effect depends on her choice:

  • Heat: the weapon abruptly glows red and becomes incredibly hot to the touch, so hot that bare hands touching it will receive severe burns if they don't release it immediately.
  • Cold: the weapon abruptly glows blue and becomes incredibly cold to the touch, so cold that bare hands touching it will be frozen if they don't release it immediately.
  • Electricity: the weapon abruptly glows yellow and crackles with electricity. A bare hand touching it will spasm with damage from the shock, likely releasing it involuntarily, but not receiving lasting damage.
