A Purple Tunic, also known as Antistatic Armor, among other names, generally appears as a violet-colored tunic sized appropriately for its intended wearer. Whoever wears it will be mostly protected from Electric-based damage, generally taking less than half the usual damage. In addition, the wearer typically won't suffer from hindering shocks or stuns when struck by most forms of electricity. A skilled Outfitter can create Antistatic Armor from a single supply of Lightning Weave Cloth.
This tunic is particularly helpful for those of the River Zora race, as it effectively negates their weakness to electricity.

- Similar tunics can protect from other dangers, like the Purple Tunic protects from electricity. Specifically, the Goron Tunic protects from heat, the Zora Tunic protects from water, the Yeti Tunic protects from cold, the Fairy Tunic protects from Light damage, and the Black Tunic protects from Shadow damage.
