As its namesake implies, Zora Weakness is an innate racial perk for both Sea Zora and River Zora. As an innate perk, a member of either race must have this trait, even if it is undesired. No other races may gain this trait.

For both types of Zora, this weakness seems to be a byproduct of physiological adaptation to being Amphibious. Despite this, it affects each type of Zora differently.

A Sea Zora has a crippling weakness to Fire, in large part due to their heavy reliance on water and preference for aquatic environments. Fire, and to a lesser extent heat, rapidly dries out their bodies and can lead to premature death. As a general rule, any Sea Zora will take roughly double the damage from any fire-based attack. This weakness can be overcome with a Goron Tunic, a pair of Fireshield Earrings, or any protective gear crafted from Dodongo Hide.

A River Zora has a crippling weakness to Electricity, in large part to their wet and highly conductive bodies. Electricity courses through them with bizarrely intense vigor, burning them and causing them to dry out rapidly. As a general rule, any River Zora will take roughly double the damage from any electricity-based attack. This weakness can be overcome with any protective gear crafted from Lightning Weave Cloth.
